I studied the roles of immune cells in the immune-mediated and lung diseases mainly using mouse models at the University of Tokyo (2002-2008). Then, I moved to University of Michigan (Dr. Marc Peters-Golden’s laboratory), and there, I studied the mechanism by which prostaglandin E2 suppresses functions of macrophages and lung fibroblasts (2008-2012). Now, since I joined this Lab in April 2012, I am enthusiastically studying the roles of regulated secretory machinery in the immune system and in the lung.
